Community Celebration in
Oakfield, New York
The Oakfield Betterment Committee is very excited for 2015!! We are
already planning our wonderful Labor Day event, along with several other fun
events throughout the year!
What can you expect this year at Labor Days? You can definitely expect the
usual Great Entertainment, Food, Car Cruise, and our Giant Parade in a fun,
friendly and family atmosphere. Last year was the first year that we
incorporated a 5K Run and Children’s Games that were a hit, finishing off with a tug-o-war over a Jell-o
This year we are working very hard on our Craft & Artisan Show, and we are
anticipating a great turn-out. We have spoken with many crafters and have a
very positive outlook for this year’s event. If you or someone that you
know would like to reserve an area at this year’s event, please check out
our Arts & Crafts Page for more information.
We have a wonderful Committee with a lot of enthusiasm and great ideas. If
you are interested in helping out with the any event, please feel free to
get in touch with any member or stop by one of our meetings. Oakfield
Betterment meetings are held the 2nd Wednesday of every month at
7pm at the Oakfield Town Hall on Drake Street. Even if you can’t make it to
the meetings, but would like to help out at different events or helping with
ticket sales, just contact any Betterment Member!
This will be the 6th year that the Oakfield Betterment Committee has
celebrated Labor Days in the Park. Oakfield Labor Days in the Park has become a highly anticipated event in our community.
